About the business

They are working to fight the constantly evolving data security threats faced by our high value clients. They work with clients in a wide range of industries to provide software solutions for secure communications, identity based security, behavioural analytics, ransom ware prevention and many other client specific security requirements. They work with industry standard and proprietary security and cryptography systems to create secure software so that our clients can be assured that their data will be safe even when sharing over unsecure networks. They use a wide variety of Microsoft and open source development tools, and we are continuously evaluating new technologies to meet existing and new requirements. All members of their development team have input in the design and architecture of their products and we are constantly challenging their own designs and preconceptions to ensure their solutions remain secure. As they expand their client base they face new challenges and requirements and need to grow our research and development team. They are looking for someone who has a wide range of experience and in exchange they can provide a fantastic environment where you can genuinely contribute.

The Role

Our Testers and QA department ensure that the products and services we offer are of the high quality we expect. Our Automation testers produce tests that test the quality and security of both our network and suite of securit applications This includes functional, non-functional as well as threat specific testing.

Essential Skills

  • A clear and demonstrable understanding of creating secure software as well as a good understanding of current threats and risks.
  • Minimum of three years’ commercial infrastructure QA / Test Experience
  • Bug and Work Item tracking (Ideally
  • Source Control (TFS)
  • Experience of software automation
  • Experience testing security of software applications or networks
  • Previous Accountability for large feature work in previous roles
  • Testing of online services.

Advantageous Skills

  • Experience using Team Foundation Server.
  • Experience using Penetration Testing frameworks
  • Experience of working in an agile environment.
  • Azure experience (Object Store, SQL, Instances).
  • Hyper -V Management.
  • Active Directory Installation and Configuration
  • Knowledge of Symmetric / Asymmetric Encryption. Specifically, RSA or AES.
  • SQL Server 2014
  • Deployment to large services (MS Release Management / Octopus Deploy)
  • Unit Test creation using C#
  • ISEB Certified
  • CEH / CREST / CHECK Certified
